Position Summary
As an Engineer in Training, you will learn firsthand the necessary daily operations to perform a stimulation job on a well. Your training will be done predominantly on wellsite locations with an emphasis on hands-on training. Training will begin with safe equipment maintenance and operating procedures. Then progress to completions fluid training with an onsite fluid technician. The final phase of training will take place in the data van under the supervision of an engineer. You will learn the equipment operating and data analyzing software used to complete a stimulation job.

Key Accountabilities
Learn wellsite safety.
Learn major components of equipment.
Learn proper operating procedures for equipment.
Assist equipment operators with maintenance.
Assist equipment operators with daily duties.
Learn all completion fluid systems.
Learn proper proppant and fluid testing practices.
Assist fluid technician with pre-job testing and set up.
Learn equipment operating and stimulation software.
Assist engineer in proppant and chemical ordering.
Assist engineer in completing a stimulation job.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
A basic understanding of hydraulics, mechanical power, and chemistry.
Ability to proficiently use Microsoft Office applications, Excel, MS Word, etc...
Self-motivation and ability to work independently.
Multitasking, interpersonal communication and attention to detail are all required skills.
Pass the company's "Physical Functions Assessment"

Required Experience and Education
A Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent.
Valid Drivers License.
Eligible to work in the United States.

VIEW JOBS 2/20/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-05-21T00:00 Position Summary Under strict supervision, the entry-level Operator Trainee learns basic safety, operations, and repair procedures on departmental equipment, utilizing the mentor program and on job training to include but not limited to: Performing pre- and post-job equipment inspections, performing preventative maintenance procedures, and maintaining support equipment (i.e., pumps and treating lines). The Operator Trainee assists in the clean-up, repair, and preparation for a job, and may be asked to assist during the rigging up and down of service line equipment at the well site. Key Accountabilities Learns basic operations with service line equipment. Develops necessary skills to operate departmental equipment as well as the ability to identify, maintain and troubleshoot equipment. Assists with facility equipment function testing. Will be required to drive company light-duty and obtain Commercial Driver’s License to operate commercial vehicles within 180 days of being in the position of Operator Trainee. Works under strict supervision with little or no flexibility in regards to work methodology. Job duties are highly defined and repetitive in nature. Complies with all company and client Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) practices and guidelines. Develops an understanding of district goals and works towards meeting those objectives. Performs work on his/her own as well as provides assistance to other employees as directed. Performs and assumes other duties and responsibilities as may be required by immediate supervisor. Adheres to Company policies and work requirements. Must participate in all company provided training. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to read, write and speak English to the extent that they are able to understand verbal and written instructions as well as give verbal and written instructions in English; and the ability to use simple mathematical calculations using whole numbers, fractions and decimals (addition, subtraction, division and multiplication) to make job related calculations. Must have the applicable knowledge of DOT rules and regulations as required for the position. Basic computer skills are preferred. Required Experience and Education Must have a valid Driver’s license with the proper endorsements required for the type vehicle operated, issued by state of residence. No experience necessary. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Pass the company’s drug screen. Pass the company’s “Physical Functions Assessment”. Motor vehicle record qualifies individual to be an approved company driver. Acceptable criminal history.
