The Engineer Technical Support, Program Integration position includes develop, manage, and facilitate configuration management practices within the ALS engineering teams; assisting in projects for the development and improvement of CAD systems, Engineering Teamcenter PLM, Engineering Master Data, Reporting tools in conjunction with other business systems integrations such as Teamcenter PLM to SAP- ERP integrations.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Develop and manage projects for the Engineering digital tools team consistent with business priorities.

  • Collaborate with business and functional partners in defining scope and specifying requirements.

  • Define execution plan and approach based on project scope, modify plan as required, expected timeline, manage funding and resources required for project execution.

  • Provide direction and coordination of activities for different multi-disciplined teams.

  • Cooperate with external vendors/contractors, global technical teams working in the execution of the project as required.

  • Support execution team with resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies. Partner with technical functional teams to the project to ensure their tasks are completed on time.

  • Drive simplification and improvements as necessary.

  • Train, coach and mentor project team on business practices, technical processes and standards related to CAD systems, Teamcenter PLM, and system Integrations.

  • Facilitate the development of metrics related to engineering PLM, ERP-SAP report, and master data audit tools.

  • Develop progress reports towards goals, and develop any required mitigation plans to offset risks to priorities.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Sytems Engineering from an accredited university with minimum of 5 years of experience in Computer-aided design (CAD) systems, business systems support, project management.

  • Understanding of drafting, modeling, and drawing industry standards.

  • Possess Intermediate to advanced 3D modeling skills in NX and Solid Works CAD systems.

  • General understanding of NX and SolidWorks integration with Teamcenter.

  • Candidate must be willing to learn processes associated with PLM Teamcenter and reporting tools.

  • Proficiency with MS Office suite of products such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Knowledge of standard quality systems tools such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, etc.… is a plus.
