The Systems Salesperson will be responsible for designing and selling fire, security, CCTV and access control protection system.
Responsibilities:
Design systems.
Meet with electrical contractors to sell new products to
Perform lunch and learns for Architects and Engineers to specific our products.
Compile and prepare plan submittals and material submittals for review by architects, engineers, clients, and authorities having jurisdiction.
Review project updates for change orders.
Perform field surveys for initial drawing layout as well as follow-up for accuracy and coordination.
Participate in internal and external coordination and progress meetings.
Participate in Lunch & Learn presentations and networking groups
Other job duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Strong analytical, mathematical, and computer skills.
Thorough understanding of general construction methods, practices, and terminology.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Strong knowledge of project management principles, with demonstrated ability to manage a large and diverse number of projects.
High level of self-discipline, motivation and ability to operate in a team environment.
Superior organizational and time management skills
Knowledge of local and national fire and building codes & government regulations
Education/Experience:
Five (5) years of experience in systems design with demonstrated competency in project management
NICET certification preferred. If not NICET certified, must become NICET Certified.
Knowledge of and understanding within floor programs
