We are seeking a high caliber Senior Machine Design Engineer; who will be responsible for Design and Facilitate fabrication of tooling and production equipment for microelectronics assemblies

Impact role with have with Abbott:

  • Collaborate with internal customers to provide mechanical design support for manufacturing and testing equipment

  • Support the development of automated equipment and Establish machine specifications.

  • Evaluate process and design alternatives based on Design for Manufacturability principles.

  • Establish knowledge base of new developments in manufacturing and design technologies.

  • Collaborate with vendors on procuring materials, services, and equipment

  • Fix and repair automated equipment

  • Assemble and evaluate automated equipment

  • You will Support equipment validations

  • Support all Company initiatives as identified by management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.

Align with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments. Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.

  • Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned.

Your experience(s), education and knowledge will further expand Abbotts marketplace success:

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering or Associates degree in equipment technology with 10-15 years relevant experience

  • 5-10 years of Engineering Design experience

  • Experience with crafting and fabricating automated manufacturing equipment for low and high volume processes.

  • Good communication skills and the ability to interact with the organization

  • Experience with general automation and control concepts along with machine vision systems and PLC software programming.

  • CAD software skills are also required (ProE, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD).

  • Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model preferred.

  • Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a dynamic, changing environment.

  • Lead and/or engage others to accomplish projects.

  • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.

  • Ability to travel approximately 10%, including internationally

VIEW JOBS 1/5/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-04-05T00:00 The Sr Manager of Instructional Design & Training manages, develops and delivers training content to corporate and franchise clinics as well as for owners and managers related to The Joint culture and operational expectations. This includes but is not limited to, all on-boarding training for in-clinic wellness coordinators and doctors (corporate and franchise locations), new franchise owner training, and management of the Learning Management System. Support operations leadership by developing training content that is timely and relevant to the skills, knowledge, and abilities needed for operational excellence and company growth. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: * Creating, updating and maintaining an up to date library of manuals, tools and other resources used in the training and development of the network as required. * Managing the process of coordinating the logistics, creating the content and facilitating the Franchisee Training Program. * Assisting with the planning, organization and implementation of conferences and other activities where corporate is involved. * Facilitate training workshops, presentations and/or learning activities one on one or in groups ranging up to 1,000. * Use course authoring tools (e. g. Articulate Rise, Captivate) to create engaging and interactive e-learning. * Administer, develop, organize and maintain content on LMS. * Design, develop, author, narrate, record, edit, and implement training content and e-learning including handouts, checklists, manuals, tests/quizzes, job cards, presentations, scripts, video, audio, etc. * Produce, edit, and deliver engaging content through web-based, instructor-led, and virtual classroom learning formats. * Design and develop learning outcomes assessment activities, including assessment questions, scenarios, and simulations. * Proofread and edit content for proper use of grammar, punctuation, style, and brand. * Review and evaluate training materials and programs; recommend and make revisions. * Work with Director, subject matter experts, and key stakeholders to implement learning solutions. Operational Support * Assist HelpDesk team in answering and resolving operational/training questions and issues from the clinics and franchise owners. * Develop and execute on communication plans for operational changes, such as price changes, new operational procedures and updated policies & procedures. * Manage and update the Operations Manual and Operating Standards, updating as appropriate to meet operational standards. This includes all policies and standard operating procedures. * Administrative / Communication (5%) * Establish and maintain a productive relationship with all Franchisees through continual and productive communication. As necessary, act as a liaison of information between the network and corporate beyond what is outlined above. * Participate in re-occurring and ad-hoc corporate staff meetings as necessary Functional Skills: * Demonstrated ability to create engaging, interactive, and effective training and performance support materials that support course learning objectives and enhance performance * Demonstrated application of adult learning principles * Strong writing skills with focused attention to details with the ability to analyze, organize, and effectively communicate complex ideas through writing * Ability to communicate effectively orally and provide professional narration for recorded training resources * Advanced expertise with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint * Knowledge of e-learning technologies and deployment strategies * Classroom facilitation skills * Strong advisory/partnering skills to work effectively with peers, subject matter experts, and other business partners * Ability to learn new software and web-based environments quickly * Ability to quickly learn subject matter * Resourceful in finding information and fact checking Desired Education & Experience: * Bachelor's Degree in Education, Business, or related field * Minimum of 2 years experience in a retail franchise environment highly preferred * 5-7 years corporate training and development with an Operational focus desired * Experience using course authoring and graphics tools (e.g. Articulate Rise, Adobe Creative Cloud.), e-learning tools, learning management software to develop and manage on-line courses and materials * Experience in all phases of developing on demand training courses and e-learning * Experience narrating, recording, and editing audio and visual training content * Minimum 3 years of experience developing training materials * Experience in instructional design, curriculum development, manuals, assessments, etc. The Joint Scottsdale AZ
