The IT Supply Chain Oracle System Engineer group has openings for highly motivated system engineers to support Electric Boats customization of our ERP application suite. ERP is the vehicle for integrating people, processes and technologies across a digital supply chain ecosystem. These applications will reduce program cost and prepare the company to face the challenges and opportunities of a modernized digital enterprise. Our team members must have strong verbal and written communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences. You will grow your skills, work with the cutting edge technologies and introduce new tools and techniques to the team. There are plenty of opportunities for leadership growth as well.
Responsibilities include:
Evaluate configuration and engineering processes, uncover areas of improvement, and develop and improve analysis, documentation, and solutioning practices
Partner with system engineers to support Oracle Procure-to-Pay vision and align enhancements to road-map to better support business goals
Research and understand Oracle current and future technology, provide best practices to reduce total cost of ownership and meet business goals
Lead functional configuration efforts in automation
Develop thorough understanding of interface integrations and support monitoring of ERP system interfaces
Define and lead configuration management processes and procedures
Define and coach analysis with system engineers in processes that transform functional business requirements into technical solutions
Support engineering documentation and testing strategies that will maintain system integrity within the SDLC
Manage communication with multiple business stakeholders, IT teams, and management

Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Business Information Systems or equivalent technical degree.
4+ years of experience implementing Oracle ERP solutions
Strong working knowledge of Oracle eBusiness Suite
Strong listening and leadership skills
Analytical individual who possess an eagerness to learn and is not afraid to ask questions and challenge current processes, ideas, and systems
Demonstrated experience working in a team environment
Excellent documentation, organizational, and communication skills
Preferred:
Techno Functional knowledge of Oracle Procurement, Item Management, Demand Planning, Receiving, Supplier Quality, Finance
Advanced SQL experience
Product owner experience within an agile organization
Experience capturing business requirements, preparing functional specification documents, solution designing, prototyping, testing, training, and implementing practice business solutions with Oracle ERP
