The Senior Environmental Engineer will ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permits. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Development, modification, enforcement, oversight, and implementation of environmental permits and environmental regulations, programs, procedures, policies, and manuals.

  • Creating, developing, and improving relationship between Environmental, external agencies, and internal departments such as EHS&T, Operations, Commercial, Legal, and others.

  • Setting and achieving environmental compliance goals that support and meet the expectations of Field Environmental Manager and Director, Environmental.

  • Participation in industry associations as appropriate.

The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is required. A science degree in Science or Engineering or related areas is preferred.

  • Five or more years of experience in a compliance or regulatory capacity in the energy or related industries is required.

  • Proven environmental compliance skills in the energy industry is required.

  • Proven ability to communication effectively and influence various individuals and groups across organizational lines is required.

  • Proven organizational skills and abilities is required.

  • Proven ability to evaluate issues, define requirements, and implement action plans to accomplish organizational goals is required.

  • Working knowledge of midstream energy industry facilities such as pipelines (gas, liquids, natural gas liquids), pump and compressor stations, gas and liquid measurement facilities, above and below ground storage, liquid terminals, gas processing facilities, or naturals gas liquids fractionation is preferred.

  • Ability to walk long-periods of time to access field assets and right-of-way (ROW).

  • Ability to travel up to 10% domestically is required.

Certification and Licensing * Applicable driver's license for travel to other locations. * Applicable certifications as required by position.
