Job Description:

Performs scientific work associated with the analytical, statistical, and programming skills to collect, analyze, and interpret large data sets; develop data-driven solutions to difficult business challenges.

Perform computer-engineering services for the Global Broadcast Service (GBS) to include:

  • Shipboard GBS Testing and Evaluations and technicaldocumentation

  • Network Device Configurations/Troubleshooting

  • Provide Assured Compliance Assessment Solutions (ACAS)

10 years of experience in "Relevant Technical Field", to include:

Note: Experience may be concurrent.

  • Technology Analysis and Assessment

  • Design Definition

  • Development of Systems Specification

  • Systems Analysis

  • Systems Architecture

  • Systems/Equipment Integration

  • Test & Evaluation Criteria

  • Logistics support of C4ISR requirements.

  • Four (4) years of technical experience in support of GBS

  • Authoring Test Plans, Test Reports, and Technical Procedures

  • Ability to create, modify, and read drawings and diagrams.

Development Experience

  • C/C++

  • Kencast Fazzt

  • Windows Application Development

Network Device Configuration/Troubleshooting Experience:

  • Switches, routers, firewalls

  • Configuring switches, routers, and firewalls. (Cisco, Juniper, Alactel, etc.)

  • Cisco Devices

  • Windows Devices

  • Linux Devices

  • Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)

  • Standing up and configuring ACAS server

  • Scanning with Security Center and Nessus

Basic knowledge of the following Operating Systems

  • Red Hat 6, 7, 8
  • Windows 7
  • Windows 10
  • Windows Server 2016 or higher

Shipboard Experience

  • Deploying Group Systems Integration Testing (DGSIT)
  • SystemOperational Testing (SOT)
  • System OperationalVerification Test (SOVT)
  • Hardware Troubleshooting

Bachelor's degree or the following certs:

  • Microsoft Windows 10 (MCSA: Windows 10)

  • Microsoft Windows Server 2016

  • Red Hat Certified System

  • Administrator (RHCSA)

  • Cisco CCENT

  • Cisco CCNA Routing & Switching

  • Cisco CCNA Security

  • CompTIA Security+
