Must be a subject matter expert regarding the design and manufacture of all aspects of passive component development for hi-rel space applications.Responsible for new requirements review, concept/proposal for technical approach, program schedule and budget creation/management.In this position, you will design and develop passive microwave components including RF & microwave Filters, Multiplexers, Couplers, Dividers and Integrated Assemblies for space applications.Product implementations vary from lumped element to coaxial or rectangular waveguide structures.Primary configurations are in lumped element form.The knowledge and demonstrated ability to design high order, complex transfer function topologies, in lumped element form, is required.The ability to lead a cross-functional team for new cost-competitive filter products from quotation, through design and development, into production release and manufacturing support.

As an RTL Design Engineer in the Technology and Products Pathfinding Group, you will use your digital design skills to architect Implement new, pervasive systems prototypes with high level hardware description languages like SystemVerilog, Chisel, and Bluespec. Debug, and deliver memory controller and physical interface (PHY) digital logic in FPGA and ASIC solutions. In this role, you will also drive circuit board changes to meet the interface requirements of new protocols and I/O standards. A proven track record of delivering hardware that implements and interfaces through industry bus standard interfaces including DDRx, LPDDRx, PCI Express is required. You will be a member of a small team of engineers developing system solutions that host the latest memory technologies as prototypes for customers and as verification and characterization vehicles. Expertise and mastery of all phases of logic design are required. Responsibilities will include the following, individually and with a small similarly focused team: * Develop and deliver specifications of hardware designs that interface Micron memory devices to industry standard platforms through existing interfaces such as PCI Express. * Work with team of RTL designers to understand and leverage existing IP blocks that are building blocks for a family of products. * Drive the board design that support the interface changes and any other system requirements for the system. * Work with internal and external vendors to deliver the PCB including bills of material, board fabrication, layout, assembly and testing. * Implement Verilog for use in ASIC or FPGA that realize the system specification. * Perform system debug using FPGA logic analysis, e.g. Xilinx ChipScope and Intel SignalTap, and hardware monitors including logic analyzers and protocol analyzers. * Implement solutions in a robust manner to ensure system reliability. Individual Qualifications: * Proven track record of delivering Verilog designs in FPGA or ASIC devices delivering prototypes and products to production quality. * Experience with complete ASIC and FPGA flows including timing closure of high-speed digital design using toolchains, in-house scripts and tools for design automation. * Experience with scripting and programming languages like Python and C++ to support hardware design, verification, and debug. * Experience with JEDEC Standards including DDRx and LPDDRx. * RTL simulation skills ranging from test bench design and implementation, test case generation, pre and post-silicon debug. * Ability to learn new skills and explore unfamiliar concepts. Education: MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering with industry experience in engineering successful products for internal and/or external use.
