Support quality requirements definition and compliance across a variety of shipbuilding disciplines; investigates and dispositions non-compliances
Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product.
Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place.
Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.
Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.
Audits quality systems for deficiency identification and correction.
Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.
Provide technical solutions to a wide range of complex problems. Solutions are imaginative, thorough, practical, and consistent with organization objectives.
Liaison with internal management and customer to provide solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects.
Must have ability to inspect confined spaces, stooping, crawling, bending, climbing ladders and stairs when required
Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 5 Years of relevant professional experience or a Master's degree in a technical field with 3 year of relevant professional experience.

Basic computer skills are required.
Must be able to read a blueprint.
ABET Accredited engineering degree.
Demonstrated experience working in cross functional teams. Team leader experience a plus.
Experience in heavy industrial/shipyard facilities
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others
Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills
Microsoft Office Suite experience with basic skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
