Engineer / Project Manager, Water Wastewater

WestLand Resources is growing in our Phoenix office, and we have a great opportunity for a Civil Engineer who has Project Management and Water or Wastewater experience.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field

  • Registered as a Professional Engineer (PE), and the ability to obtain a PE in the State of Arizona within six months of start date

  • A minimum of five (5) years' water/wastewater experience

  • A minimum of two (2) years' experience as a project manager in engineering

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience in water distribution storage and supply engineering systems designs preferred

  • Experience in wastewater collections and pump station engineering designs preferred

  • Experience developing written proposals for clients is preferred

HDR is currently in need of a Project Manager to work as a member of our rapidly growing construction group. Primary Responsibilities: The Project Manager will be primarily be responsible for overseeing Design-Build projects that are focused on water and wastewater. * Plan, schedule and coordinate construction procurements, and supervise field construction activities involving general construction and/or trade subcontractors and vendors. * Manage the design phase of the alternative delivery project to ensure design is compliant with the clients' technical requirements and that the design does not exceed the developed budget. * Development of the budget for alternative delivery projects. * Take responsibility for budget, schedule, quality and safety throughout such activities, utilizing company resources for guidance and support * Maintain accurate daily record of construction site activity and produce required reports on progress, safety, quality, schedule and budget status * Coordinate with other project team groups such as design, procurement and Project Controls. * Serve as a key client contact tasked with building Hdr, Inc. Phoenix AZ
