The Engineer
Responsibilities
Assists with the support and implementation of systems/services which ensures high system availability and maximizes usage of all Information Technology resources, while monitoring and maintaining our ticketing queue.
Champion a DevOps model so that services are automated and elastic across all platforms for systems/service implementation and maintenance, which minimize the impact on customer service and provide adequate backup/recovery capability. Ensures timely delivery of new capabilities.
Utilizes processes for monitoring performance of installed systems or services and takes corrective actions when necessary. Develops and generates management reports as required.
Contributes to the development and execution of IT projects and utilizes processes for problem determination which ensures maximum systems/services availability and enhances the productivity of staff members. Write operational documentation and knowledge base of known issues with solutions.
Utilizes change management standards and processes, implementing changes through sound testing procedures, communications and project analysis. which ensures maximum customer service.
Participate in 24x7 SWAT on-call rotation and escalation workflow as needed, such as occasional weekends.

What we expect from you
High School Diploma is required.
4 years of restaurant related experience with a minimum of 3 years' experience in application engineer or similar support role. Minimum of 2 -years' experience in NCR Aloha Systems including but not limited to CFC, CMC, ATO, Aloha Kitchen, and ATG
A general knowledge of information technology functions, processes, operations, configurations, project management methodology, application development, systems testing and design.
Good communication and analytical skills.
A general knowledge of Windows OS, Windows Command Line, Windows Services, Windows Tasks, Windows Event/Log, Windows Registry, Batch Files, and Command Files.
A general knowledge of best practices as it relates to the support, configuration, and deployment of Aloha NCR related software.

The base pay range for this position is listed below. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and budget for the open position and also may vary depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other relevant factors.
