Engineer

NewcrestImage is hiring an Engineer for our Magnolia Dallas Dowwntown Hotel!

NewcrestImage is a premier company in the hospitality space that designs, builds and operates state-of-the-art hotels for the most renowned brands in the industry. We are currently looking for an Engineer that will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance of the hotel.

In terms of key responsibilities, first and foremost and just like every other position within our company, this role will advance NewcrestImage's core values of People come First, Communication is Knowledge, Giving is Fun, Experiences are Memorable, and Response-Ability is Ours. Some of the key responsibilities of the role are as follows:

• Fix minor plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical problems using appropriate company processes and procedures.

• Communicate with Guests as necessary to resolve maintenance issues.

• Report any serious maintenance problems, unusual findings, or safety hazards immediately to the manager.

• Use the lockout/tagout system before performing any maintenance work.

• Comply with QA standards and company standards and requirements.

• Follow Company and Department safety and security policies and procedures to ensure a clean, safe, and secure environment to include all emergency procedures.

• Follow hazardous material management program procedures for handling and disposal of chemicals, fertilizer, pesticides, blood borne pathogens, etc. including using Safety Data Sheets (SDS).

• Use proper equipment, wear appropriate personal protective clothing, and employ proper lifting procedures as necessary to avoid injury.

• Follow policies and procedures for the safe operation and storage of tools, equipment, and machines.

• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary materials and information.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED, and 2 years of related work.

• Desired: Technical training in HVAC/R, electrical, and plumbing.
