Engineer Mechanical II

Basic Purpose of Position:
Provide knowledge in mechanical engineering field. Define critical project criteria to ensure project completion. Use creativity to resolve complex issues. Demonstrate working knowledge of business and customer requirements. Demonstrate effective communications skills.
Primary or Major Responsibilities:
Design, development and test of mechanical engineering designs and concepts.
Support designs with analysis and calculations including tolerance, stress, mechanics and dynamics.
Assist purchasing to source long lead time/obsolete components and /or identify and evaluate a replacement.
Provide effective communications and/or presentations to internal & external audiences.
Keeps accurate and complete records of engineering activities.
Generate and submit engineering documentation.
All other duties as assigned.
BSME or equivalent
3-5 years experience.
Proficiency with Solidworks
Mechanism, plastic part, and enclosure design experience
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
Familiarity with ISO and GMP
