Some construction work experience preferred. Experience may be in the following sectors: federal, state, municipal, K-12 school, water/wastewater, higher education, laboratory facilities, transportation, ports or marina projects.


Project assignments including on-site representation of client, preparation of project documentation, cost estimating, scheduling, plan review, research of records. May perform a review of project records, schedules, and as-built construction to evaluate change orders and requests for extension of time. Independently apply techniques and analyze for problems and methods. Ensure the quality and timeliness of deliverables.


Receive training, participation in company activities, and administrative duties. Other duties as assigned.


Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.

FE/EIT preferred. Knowledge of engineering principles of construction management and project controls. Knowledge of one of the following services: critical path method scheduling, cost estimating, project budgeting, delay analysis, constructibility and design review, inspections, quantity take-offs. Must possess OSHA 10-hour or OSHA 30-hour certification or obtain within 3 months of hire.


Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, CADD, graphics, writing capabilities, and ability to work independently.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain industry certifications specific to duties assigned.

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering plans, specifications and technical reports.

  • Ability to maintain records and prepare reports and correspondence related to the work.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with others.

  • Ability to maintain favorable public relations.

  • Able to stand and sit as needed on project work sites, climb ladders, work at heights, and work outdoors in a wide range of weather conditions.

  • Ability to safely navigate construction work sites with uneven terrain.


Work is closely supervised.


Ability to supervise assistants in technical/administrative roles.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Responsible for development and production of personalized communications using GMC composition systems and other solutions. * Upgrade the systems and ensure system availability. * Analyze user requirements and recommend solutions and approaches. * Develop programming code for producing statements and system enhancements. * Plan, design, develop and test software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products. * Develop and install programs to support general business applications. * Perform unit and system testing of all new and modified code. * Support user testing activities, tracking defects and resolutions. * Produce weekly status reporting documentation to be discussed during team meeting. * Provide progress reports to client teams to support their project plan. * Must effectively multi-task to handle competing priorities and be available for additional hours when required to handle workload. * Perform other job duties as requested by senior management. JOB REQUIREMENTS * Minimum of five (5) years of related experience in the design, maintenance, and administration of application software. * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience. * Experience with Composition software (GMC Inspire Designer, Compuset) * Shell scripting (Java, Javascript, C#, VB, perl, C++) IBM Mainframe, JCL * Solimar® Print Director™ Enterprise and FreeFlow® VI eCompose preferred but not required * Eye for detail to ensure communications are correct and consistent. * Ability to independently perform research and debug technical issues. * Analytical and problem solving skills. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Good personal computer and business solutions software skills. * Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. * Must be currently eligible to work in the United States for any employer. * Must consent to and successfully clear all required pre-employment screenings.
