THE JOB
It is the primary responsibility of the Tram Maintenance Engineer to maintain and repair all equipment and to assist in the daily operations and activities which they have been assigned and provide administrative and technical support as directed by department management.
STARTING PAY RATE: $35.50
THE DAY-TO-DAY
Maintain and repair all equipment related to the successful operation of the tram
Inspect, maintain, and repair tram systems and auxiliary equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic problems on tram systems and auxiliary equipment
Complete work orders
Walk daily routes and make necessary repairs
Identify required tools and special equipment
Work with power ranging from low to medium voltages
Read and understand blueprints, including understanding the specifications for all fixtures and furniture
Ensure all requirements as specified by the manufacturer of systems and fixtures are met
Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance are properly sized, aligned, supported and graded
Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance meet the requirements of the appropriate codes
Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance meet environmental protection standards
Inventory all equipment and parts to ensure par levels are met
Have an advanced understanding of emergency procedures
Maintain a thorough understanding of rules and regulations, including OSHA safety rules
Utilize communication devices in accordance with hotel and department standards
Report all guest incidents and cooperate with security for a timely resolution
Operate scissor and boom lifts and climb ladders to access elevated areas such as ceilings and catwalks
REQUIRED
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
Age 21+
EPA Certification
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STANDOUT
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Knowledgeable of hand power tools
Able to use diagnostic tools, such as but not limited to: Amp Meters, Voltmeters, OHM meters, compound gauges and pressure gauges etc.
Able to work from blueprints and schematics, and interpret manufactures guidelines for the operation and maintenance of theme park and related equipment
General knowledge of mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, money handling
Proficient at inspecting, troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing, and installing facilities fixtures, furnishings, and equipment
Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards
