Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

As a Deputy Manager

• CAM Surface Modelling at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd in the Manufacturing(Mfg) division, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of 3D models using part drawings in Unigraphics, Tebis v3.4R5C1, Catia V5R17, for NC program generation.

• Decision-making on manufacturing strategy and providing guidance to die designers regarding manufacturing possibilities.

• Supporting the CNC machine shop for problem-solving and NC programming of checking, welding, and assembly fixtures for die casting molds.

• Ensuring schedule adherence, reducing rework, conversion hours, and costs through efficient practices.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Responsible for independently handling Surface Modelling in Catia/Tebis for self as well as Team for Delivery & Quality.

• Scheduling & Planning of Team & Quality Checking.

• Continuous Process Improvements & cost saving through various initiatives.

• Reduction in Machining Time by innovative approach & reducing set ups.

Education Qualification

To qualify for the role of Deputy Manager

• CAM & Surface Modelling, you should possess the following educational background:

• Diploma in Tool and Die Making & PG Diploma in Design / CAM

• Bachelor of Engineering in relevant field

• Certifications in CAM and Simulation software are a plus

General Experience

With 8-12 years of experience in tooling, sheet metal forming, and teamwork, you should have demonstrated expertise in 3D modeling software such as Unigraphics, Tebis, and Catia. Your solid understanding of manufacturing processes and CNC programming will be beneficial in this role.

Critical Experience

• CAM Surface Modelling, critical experience includes proficiency in identifying manufacturing strategies, reducing operational costs, improving process efficiency, and effectively managing NC programming.
