  • Manages source code in accordance with operating procedures and industry best practices.

  • Manages and deploys configuration files across all environments.

  • Manages the build process and integration processes.

  • Follows change control process for each release (create change control request, attends CCR meeting and documents change)

  • Packages and deploys builds to various test, staging and production environments.

  • Collaborates with systems administrators to plan, provision, and maintain build and test environments in support of development / test activities.

  • Troubleshoots system level issues in production and development environments.

  • Participates in meetings between Development, Operations, QA and UAT teams to ensure proper coordination and smooth releases.

  • Other duties as assigned


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Experience in software development & developing HL7 interfaces

  • Experience Continuous Integration solutions, such as Team City, Jenkins, TFS, Visual Studio

  • Working Experience with Mirth Connect

  • Knowledge of HL7 Standards and practices

  • Knowledge in SQL scripting with SQL Server

  • Knowledge in source control tools such TFS and CI tools

  • Knowledge of scripting to automate deployments

  • Some experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment


  • Bachelor's Degree from four-year College or University, preferably in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, and 5 or more years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5 or more years of experience in software development
  • 5 or more years of experience in SQL scripting with SQL Server
  • 5 or more years of experience developing software applications
  • 5 or more years of experience in source control tools such TFS and CI tools
  • 3 years experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of:

  • Microsoft Office Suite

  • Continuous Integration solutions

  • SQL scripting with SQL Server

  • Source control tools

  • Agile/Scrum development environment
