Job Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and efficient design calculations to support project submittal drawings in accordance with project requirements, design codes and pricing scope

• Coordinate design calculations with submittal drawings

• Provide drawing assistance for project submittals using AutoCAD

• Management of multiple projects and performing duties on schedule with expected quality and results

• Provide assistance to other departments using sound engineering judgment

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering

• Registered EIT / FE is required

• Minimum of 1 year industry experience or project management related work experience preferred

• Knowledge of construction practices

• Ability to read and interpret drawings, and be able to perform structural designs

• Ability to use a variety of computer programs, including AutoCAD, Mathcad, Microsoft Office products, Word, Excel

• Excellent organization and communication skills

• Ability to interact with customers, managers, engineers, drafters and other employees to resolve engineering and management related issues
