The ideal candidate will have the following:
B.S. in Civil, Environmental, and Mechanical Engineering from an accredited four-year university required, Masters preferred
Minimum of 3-5+ years engineering experience.
Registration as a PE is preferred, EIT required.
Experience on projects consisting of general civil, water distribution, wastewater, stormwater collection systems, and /or pumping station design.
Excellent communication, written, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to problem solve and analyze technical issues and propose solutions.
Our Freehold, NJ office is seeking a water engineer to join our team.
Plan, investigate, and perform field work activities to determine feasibility of options and to complete design activities.
Perform detailed calculations related to pumping systems, hydraulics, and process calculations for various unit processes at water and wastewater plants.
Prepare and develop engineering drawings, specifications, and other project deliverables.
Develop engineering project cost estimates.
Assist during construction to serve as the lead project engineer responsible for review of shop drawings, RFIs, and design clarifications.
Assist and lead permitting activities with local and state regulatory agencies.
Attend project meetings, prepare agendas, and meeting minutes.
Coordinate and work with various disciplines in the execution of the work.
Work closely with project managers and senior design engineers in review of work and coordination in execution of designs.
