Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Engineer located in Tunkhannock, PA, will be involved with project engineering/management and optimization of gas gathering systems, a broad range of gas gathering, compression, and dehydration applications so that the assets becomes more reliable, safe and efficient. This will be accomplished through providing engineering solutions to technical problems daily, managing Small Capital/O&M projects that reside in Susquehanna Supply Hub (SSH), and identifying and developing improvement opportunities.
Demonstrated ability to quickly generate conceptual equipment designs and preliminary cost estimates.
Work seamlessly with the operations, maintenance and marketing organizations to safely operate, maintain, optimize and improve natural gas compression facilities.
Basic knowledge of process controls and industrial facility electrical power distribution and loads.
Create effective operating procedures and parameters.
Coordinate efforts to improve compressor station and pipeline facility efficiencies and reduce operating costs.
Provide technical input to the planning and implementation of compressor and pipeline maintenance projects.
Facilitate engineering troubleshooting efforts and coordinate the support of other technical disciplines.
Coordinate operational input with Marketing and Engineering & Construction department on new projects.
Provide technical assistance for regulatory compliance, safety support, and technical training initiatives.
Provide troubleshooting, analysis, and engineering modeling support for gathering systems.
Develop economic analysis on process improvements and efficiency projects.
Accountable to manage small capital & expense projects following Williams' Project Life Cycle and Technical standards.
Share responsibility with operations to prepare O&M or capital budgets
Ability to manage multiple projects or programs with moderate, risk and/or complexity while monitoring costs, balancing resources and maintaining a high level of customer focus
Knowledge of project scheduling and ability to set and maintain project milestones.
Specialized expertise in the design and installation of natural gas and oil pipeline and facilities and equipment
Knowledge of related industry construction standards and material specifications
Has developed depth of expertise in a specialized area within the discipline or breadth of expertise across the discipline.
Working knowledge of tools for evaluating compressor and pipeline hydraulic performance would be a plus.
Basic understanding of Dynamic modeling.

A Successful Candidate Will:
3-5+ years of related experience in the gas and/or NGL industry OR 5+ years of experience working in similar position.
Preferred 6+ years related experience in the gas and/or NGL industry OR 10+ years of experience working in similar position a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, Petroleum or Electrical Engineering is required.
Must possess strong communication skills, enjoy working with a team, yet able to work independently.
Must be able to perform daily local travel up to 50%. And must be willing to perform up to 10% overnight travel.
