Position Summary

Develop product requirements, feature requirements, and systems and performance analysis.

Role and Responsibilities

Duties: Develop product requirements, feature requirements, and systems and performance analysis.

Conduct deep-dive customer sessions on 4G/5G Call processing related features and air interface technologies. Analyze customer requirements, convert them into system requirements, and capture design details for all Samsung product feature to aid the development team. Aid in product and feature performance analysis, evaluation of new product and software releases.

Perform detailed analysis of 4G/5G Wireless Call Protocols. Analyze and troubleshoot the issues, such as device IOT, field KPI, and feature functionality issues. Provide expert technical support in the pre-sales process and create compelling technical and commercial solutions in order to help achieve the assigned sales goals and business objectives.

Translate and communicates complex technical design considerations between the Samsung sales team and carriers' network business. Educate customers on Samsung's new products and services both individually and in a team environment. Ensure that customer commitments are achieved according to plan. Work closely with various support organizations, logistics, and cross- functional teams from SEA and Samsung HQ to achieve successful new product roll-outs and developments.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Electronics Technology, or related field and ten (10) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience as an Engineer III, System Structure Design or related occupation in telecom software industry. Of the 10 years of experience must have included: (1) Experience with 5G/4G air interface and call processing technologies and network architecture specifically focused on Radio Access Network; (2) Experience with system engineering activities including feature requirements identification, feature description documentation, parameter optimization, performance analysis, test strategy creation, and problem troubleshooting; (3) Experience with overall Wireless systems with emphasis on PHY, MAC, RLC, RRC and PDCP layers; (4) Experience with test tools including XCAL, QXDM, Wireshark, Channel Emulator; and (5) Experience with 3GPP systems including Core and RAN networks.

Travel Requirement: up to 10% domestic or international travel required
