OneNeck IT Solutions is seeking top talent for an Engineer III - Router, Switch & Security to provide advanced network implementation, support and troubleshooting services related to Cisco technologies in Des Moines, IA.
The Network Engineer III - Router, Switch & Security maintains consistent contact with customers to ensure that services conform to requirements. This position provides a broad range of services in the assessment of customer's network requirements; including Routing and Switching, Security, and Wireless technologies. In addition, the Network Engineer III engages with other divisional engineer resources to provide resolutions for our customers; including possessing an in-depth knowledge of the customer's infrastructure and configurations.
NOTE: This position may be hired at the Engineer III or Engineer IV level given the skills/experience of the candidate and business need.

Bachelor's degree (or higher) OR 4+ years of professional work experience.
5+ years experience supporting complex Cisco networks.
Cisco Certification: CCNA or willingness to attain certification within first year of employment
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, insurance and access to reliable transportation.
Engineer IV (all qualifications above AND the following)
7+ years experience supporting complex Cisco networks.
Cisco Certification(s): CCIE required
Cisco Certification: CCIE (preferred for Engineer III).
Routing and Switching Background.
End-to-end QOS knowledge across a Cisco LAN/WAN infrastructure.
Security and Wireless Technologies.
WAN design and F5/A10 Load Balancing experience.
Network Monitoring/Management software experience.
Skilled in using Visio and other network documentation software.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
Complex network concepts and implementations.
Ability to work on assignments that are complex in nature and where considerable judgment and initiative are required in implementation and problem resolution.
Project Coordination experience is a benefit.
Ability to provide technical direction in a timely fashion, utilizing standard methodologies that satisfy customer requirements
