Job Duties and Responsibilities

Engineer II - Software sought by DISH Network, LLC in Englewood, CO

Provide hands-on technical expertise in design, development of Front-End & Backend development using React JS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and jQuery, Java, Liquid, Groovy, Ruby, Typescript, Sprint Boot, Hibernate, Node JS, Gradle, JDBC Junit, Jenkins, Rancher, Logz.io, Postman, Swagger, Git, Docker, Shopify, and MongoDB. Design and create code within a test driven-development programming environment.

Work in a fast paced, collaborative team environment using agile methodology principles. Work with other teams (outside and across the company) to understand requirements, understand expectations and present solutions. Review developer code and project delivery to maintain and improve quality control and adherence to standards.

Collaborate on, contribute to, and review backend API standards with our backend teams. Work with other technical leads on platform technical design and architecture. Perform root cause analysis of production issues, implement recommendations and help with production support on call.

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Requires: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, or a closely related field plus 1 year of work experience in job offered or a similar role. Also requires 1 year of experience with/using the following (which may have been gained concurrently):

• Java, HTML, CSS, RESTful APIs, Database, Gitlab, Docker

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $96,828.97/Year - $96,828.97/Year
