JOB SUMMARY
The Engineer II is a member of the Conifer Engineering team and is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining multiple applications running both on-premises and in the cloud. The Engineer II works closely with the Product team to refine and estimate user stories for new application functionality. The Engineer II also participates in deployment and production support activities for the applications in the portfolio.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work in an Agile environment to design, develop, and maintain multiple web-based applications running on-premises and in the cloud.
Produce high-quality, efficient, coding standards-compliant, thoroughly tested application code and modules.
Investigate, troubleshoot, and solve application defects in both test and production environments.
Assist in production deployment of the applications.
Work closely with Business Partners/Product Owners to refine and estimate user stories for new application functionality.

Must have superior problem-solving skills
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to engage with teams who may be remote
3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer working in an Agile environment, preferably Scrum
3+ years of professional experience with SQL in a relational database environment

Experience with Kubernetes is a plus
Experience with Azure and Azure DevOps is a plus
Experience in Healthcare or Healthcare IT is a plus
Experience with HL7 and X12 EDI is a plus
Experience with a healthcare integration engine like Rhapsody or Mirth is a plus

Compensation and Benefit Information
Compensation
Pay: $70,096.00-$112,112.00 annually. Compensation depends on location, qualifications, and experience.
Management level positions may be eligible for sign-on and relocation bonuses.
