The Position Proposition:

The Engineer II is an intermediate level position, with limited supervision from senior-level engineers or project managers, that is responsible for the performance of engineering tasks related to power distribution design including final QA/QC within the Power Delivery Engineering team. The incumbent is required to demonstrate strong a technical acumen with exceptional problem-solving ability to understand complex modeling applications and develops modernization of overhead and underground distribution systems.

• Provides development and design services on overhead and underground utility distribution line projects.

• Responsible for managing on multiple projects and able to prioritize.

• Interfaces with utility clients and collaboration with design team.

• Prepares and develops distribution voltage construction packages for both overhead and underground construction.

• Utilized GIS information to aide in design.

• Provide leadership, guidance and instruction to less experienced staff members.

• Field walkdowns.

• Prepare calculations and equipment specifications.

• Experience as in Engineer in the utility construction.

• Hybrid office and remote

Educational & Minimum Requirements:

• Associates degree in a related discipline is preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience in power distribution, engineering, GIS/CAD, or other craft discipline.
