Job Duties and Responsibilities

Engineer II sought by DISH Network, LLC in El Paso, TX.

Design electrical equipment, components, systems, instruments, and products. Work with vendors and manufacturers to design and develop products and implement a cost-effective design. Plan and implement research methodology and procedures related to engineering projects. Prepare and analyze technical drawings, specifications, and maps to ensure installations and operations conform to standards and customer requirements. Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, installation, and maintenance standards and specifications. Coordinate manufacturing, installation, maintenance, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements. Estimate cost of labor/materials/equipment/construction and prepare reports.

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Requires: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field, plus 3 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or as Engineer I.

Also requires 3 years of demonstrated experience with/using the following:

• AutoCAD software (Automated Computer Assisting Drawing)

• Arena software (Manufacturing Simulation Software)

• ORACLE-based platforms for various company workflows

• MNET (proprietary company information portal), an ASP and .net framework compilation of proprietary company data

• Machine shop equipment (with others)

• Creform industrial building block technology

• 3D printing (with others)

All required experience may have been gained concurrently.

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $84,382.58/Year - $84,382.58/Year
