Description:
Reporting to the Director, Facilities Management, Facilities Improvement, this position is responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of hospital systems which provide normal and emergency power, heating, conditioned ventilated air, soft domestic cold and hot water, compressed medical and control air and medical vacuum. The operation of plant equipment is monitored, and repair and/or maintenance work performed to ensure the continuing supply of power, heat, water, compressed air and medical vacuum.
1.High school diploma or equivalent is required.
2.Successful completion of an approved apprentice program or equivalent experience is required.
3.Must be able to identify and be proficient with all hand and power tools to include multimeter, amp, and probe.
4.Basic knowledge of electricity and fundamentals of wiring is required.
Pay Range ($35.95 - $48.53)
