Triton Integration & Test is seeking a Electrical Engineer 2 responsible for supporting design, development, and integration for the TSC Hotbench for 6 months. As a Design Engineer you'll be responsible for Circuit design,
AV Power distribution system and Transmission Lines design, troubleshooting and verification in a lab setting using design tools such as CATIA and Visio.
Additionally, you'll be responsible for:
Design, and build Lab Unique Harnesses using AV Harness System Schematic and Sensor/Network/Comms ICDs
Derive harness requirements from WRA ICDs
Re-design/Modify AV wire harnesses
Provide manufacturing and testing technical support on proposed solutions
The selected candidate is expected to work with other design engineers as well as team members from System Integration & Test, Quality, Change Management, Lap Ops and other numerous other engineering disciplines.
The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings
Understanding of power electronics, specifically AV Payload Integration
Familiarity with Harness manufacturing
Hands on experience with Optical Sensors
Hands on experience with Airborne Radars
AutoCAD Electrical, AutoCAD Mechanical, 3-D CAD software NX, Solid Works, or Labview is a plus.
Knowledge of analog, digital, AC/DC power design fundamentals.
Working knowledge and understanding of Aircraft Electrical Power Distribution System, Networks, and Comms, specifically for the Triton AV
Experience in a team based design UAV project (e.g. UAV, MC2 System Integration)
Communication protocol (1553, ARINC 429, Ethernet, RS-232, RS-422.) implementation experience
Working knowledge of RF & Optical systems
Ability to synthesize critical technical details into risks and actions items
Experience with system design, integration and test of AV systems.
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
Be able to support design on short-term basis(6-months)
Must have working knowledge of engineering tools CATIA and MS Visio.
