pSemi Corporation has an opening for an Engineer, Device Modeling at its facility in San Diego, CA to work on device modeling of pSemi's patented high-performance UltraCMOS technology. In collaboration with modeling engineers, the Technology Team, and the CAD team to support internal design groups with model extraction flow development, and data analysis.

PA model development for accurately simulating gain, efficiency, and linearity. Validation and debugging to support design groups needs. Large signal device characterization and analysis.

DC/RF small and large signal model extraction, implementation on multiple EDA platforms. Test hardware and software set-up and document work in presentations to design community and on internal web-sites. Required education:

Master's or equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Physics, or related. Additional requirements: academic study or work experience to include at least 6 months of the following: 1.) Cadence Design System; 2.) Noise figure and 1/f measurements characterization; 3.) Equation and measurement based models; 4.) Building and automating a load-pull system; 5.) CMOS devise knowledge. Position requires 10% domestic travel.

Company will pay all travel expenses. 40 hours/ week. Job site/ interview: San Diego, CA.
