Job Summary:

Our client in Georgetown, KY is looking for an Engineer. This is a contract position.

What You Will Do:

• Candidate would be responsible for procurement and designing specifications of machines, robots and other similar equipment used for Body PE.
• Managing and working with machine vendors to confirm correct quality and specifications of machines.
• Experience using AutoCAD, and Catia, C3, or another 3D design tool.
• 2-5 years of experience in Manufacturing or Automotive industry.
• Duties include Process Planning; Machine Specifications; Machine/Equipment Procurement; Installation/Trial Management; Project Management; Schedule Control; Budget Control/Cost Reduction; Manufacturing Support/Process Tracking.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and off shifts as typical work is conducted at nonproduction times.
• The position is home-based at PEMC office in Georgetown, KY. Willing to support Business Travel as required, including short-term or long-term dispatch if required.

Basics:

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficient Computer Skills: MS Office, CAD packages (AutoCAD, Catia, C3).
• Manufacturing/processing experience.

Preferred:

• Bodyshop Engineering Experience.
• New Model Introduction experience.
• Up to 5 years Automotive/Manufacturing Engineering Experience.
