We consider welcoming different perspectives as one of our strongest attributes

Collaboration is the key to the way we make things happen. We are a community of individuals who have different approaches to problem-solving and who enjoy opportunities to share their particular skills and their strengths.

We genuinely value people who can articulate their points of view while also respecting those of others. That's why employees who thrive in this kind of collaborative atmosphere feel so much at home in our work environment. We are currently inviting talented candidates who have these work-style preferences to apply.

Ready to use your expertise on a wide variety of difficult defense security assignments, applying analytical techniques as part of a team that tackles national defense challenges? Want to take your skills to the next level to work and dab into cutting edge technology?

Parsons is now hiring a fully qualified, Airborne BMD Sensors Engineer/Analyst with a passion for providing systems support on a variety of highly complex tasks. • Responsible for project planning, technical evaluations, test/demonstration planning, pre and post test/demonstration analysis, program summary reports and technology transition planning.

In your work experience, how many companies have talked about an open to new ideas, but seemed to be "out to lunch" whenever someone actually presented a concept that was perceived as threatening to the company's way of doing things? After that kind of past experience, it's no wonder that when organizations tout their openness, many perspective applicants take it with two grains of salt.

But we're different! Because we really mean it! And if you look at who we are and what we've been able to accomplish, you'll agree.

You don't have to be a rocket scientist to understand that not everybody envisions possibilities in the same way. And at our organization, we value the way that even the smallest tweak in a procedure can change an entire system. That's how progress happens.

And that's why there is no better opportunity than ours to give you an open door that can lead you to professional openings of all kinds if you're someone with new perspectives to share. So please contact us to learn what we can do to propel your professional goals forward.

VIEW JOBS 1/22/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-04-22T00:00 Our client is an analytics product firm that specializes in developing an artificial intelligence based geospatial analytics platform to source, process, and analyze the information generated from the rapidly growing sources of geospatial data. They apply machine learning and computer vision to geospatial data to see detail that is indistinguishable to the human eye. In essence, our client builds software that interprets data at petabyte scale and enables businesses, governments, and NGO’s to make better business and policy decisions. Culturally, our client is very serious about hiring only very smart, very nice people. In addition to fulfilling important IC/DoD missions, they do a lot of work with NGO&#39s, the World Bank, etc. on poverty, refugee migration, disaster relief, and other areas. They offer flexibility around work-from-home, and generally expect people to be in the office roughly 60% of the time. <br /><br />There are currently needs for multiple Senior Software Engineers on our client&#39s Federal team. In this role, you will do the following:<br />- implement new analytics components and products<br />- develop software (backend primarily) in Python or Java<br />- ingest multi-terabyte geospatial datasets, including satellite imagery<br />- implement code for Machine Learning algorithms<br />- implement code for Computer Vision algorithms<br />- implement code for Predictive Models<br /><br />* To clarify, this is a hand-on Software Engineer role, not a Data Scientist role: algorithm development and predictive modeling experience are NOT required. US citizenship, plus a current TS/SCI clearance, are required.<br /><br />cjobs-cat:"IT - Software"<br /><br />11325 Stanleyreid Arlington VA
