Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Engineer to support our Project Manager in the 'Public Improvement' team. This role involves working on gas system projects in partnership with local jurisdictions, analyzing design conflicts and finding resolutions. The main responsibilities include underground conflict analysis with gas lines, project scoping, design QC and support of PM's and field crews as necessary. The chosen candidate will also manage project-intake, CAD, analysis of work orders/packets, and delegate the workload to the appropriate Project Managers.

Hard Skills

• 3 years of experience working on utility distribution services (preferably gas, water, or sewer)
• 3 years of experience drafting/design in AutoCAD(civil 3d, MicroStation, AUD)
• Prior experience scheduling and managing projects from start to completion (SAP experience preferred)

Soft Skills

• Ability to analyze and resolve design conflicts

• Strong project management skills

• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 3 Year(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Bellevue, Washington and some days remote.

Work Environment

Our team operates in a hybrid work environment, with three days in the office and two from home. The working schedule is Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm. We offer 3 weeks of PTO.
