Engineer

A design-engineering and commissioning services company is looking to add a Commissioning Engineer to their team!

Job Description:

• Conduct quality assurance reviews

• Survey existing buildings

• Comprehend sequences of operation in control equipment

• Perform design reviews, site visits, and on-site functional testing

• Read and understand construction documents, floor plans, specifications, and equipment product data

• Evaluate and submit documentation for LEED, WELL Building, and other certifications related to green buildings, renewable energy, and sustainability

• Review, provide or edit commissioning related project specifications

• Review submittals and RFI's

Qualifications:

• 3+ years prior experience with building systems

• Commissioning or retro-commissioning experience is a plus

• Proficient in use of AEC industry software tools like Bluebeam, Cx software, and Microsoft Office Suite

• Knowledge of building codes and construction industry standards

• Experience using field testing equipment

• Ability to travel as required for on-site project work
