PROLIM Global Corporation is currently seeking Engine Design Engineer for location Cincinnati, OH for one of our Top client.
For the Turbine Airfoil -
Design analysis and Change In Design for Airfoil Nozzles and Blades.
Recommend design changes if needed
Review the design
Manufacturing analysis of the component
Observations from machining and coating on the blades and nozzles and their impact
Perform Thermal and/or stress analysis and record observations.
Perform tool testing and system integration testing.
Support Tollgate reviews
Aero-Thermal design and analysis of advanced highly-loaded cooled and uncooled turbine airfoils
Conduct airfoil design and aero-thermal performance calculations using 2/3D tools
Optimize the performance of turbine airfoil designs taking into account aerodynamic, heat transfer and mechanical integrity constraints
Excellent understanding of aerodynamics of gas turbine
Support the design and development of gas turbine components, performing engineering tasks
Understanding the manufacturing details in making a turbine blade and nozzle
Experienced in single crystal casting of airfoils
Experienced in thermal and stress analysis for turbine airfoil, nozzles
