Merakey is currently seeking an Engagement Support Staff to join our Adult Behavioral Drug and Alcohol Site-Based Outpatient Program, at Merakey Parkside Recovery, 5000 Parkside Avenue, in Philadelphia, PA.
Under the supervision of the Administrative Supervisor, Front Desk Engagement Specialist is a highly motivated individual, is responsible for greeting and checking-in perspective members and assisting them with accessing the appropriate staff personnel; greeting and checking-in visitors and connect them with appropriate staff. Front Desk Engagement Specialist will be asked to assist as needed with business office responsibilities.
Exemplifies customer service by answering phones and interacting with program members, staff, clinicians and visitors in a timely and pleasant manner.
Use the EHR to check-in Persons in Recovery (PIR) presenting to program ensuring they are not scheduled for services and do not have any active clinical holds before removing check-in.
Helps to resolved PIR issues as they arise to avoid escalation to counselor or Supervisory staff. When escalating issues provides summarization when contacting necessary personnel.
Helps maintain the organization of the card room. During time of EHR outage assists with distribution of medication cards.
Accepts changes in assignment in the spirit of good teamwork; accepts constructive feedback about performance or behaviors; demonstrates creative thinking and problem solving relating to issues or concerns.
Escorts PIRs and all guests around the facility as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
