Title: Engagement Manager
Duties: The Engagement Manager at ExlService.com, LLC in Jersey City, NJ will engage with clients to identify key business problems and improvement opportunities.
Provide day-to-day project management. Utilize analytics and statistical software such as SAS, SQL, Advanced Excel, VBA, PPT, Visio, Mars, Cart, R, and Tableau to perform risk analytics. Build statistical models to help clients mitigate financial risk, forecast revenue/costs, and plan for contingencies according to regulatory compliance guidelines.
Identify and recommend opportunities for automation and streamline in existing client data processes and reporting. Work closely with senior client management to implement solutions and meet study objectives. Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems.
Provide planning and guidance for gathering and synthesizing information and developing financial models and analyses to ensure quality of analysis and deliverables. Prepare recommendations for the implementation of new business systems, procedures and organizational changes. Work closely with senior client management and other personnel to implement solutions and lead teams to meet study objectives.
Present impact evaluation, results and recommendations to clients' senior managers and executives. This position does not have the authority to hire or fire employees. Requires travel to various unanticipated domestic locations. Telecommuting available.
Master's degree in Business, Mathematics, or a related field, plus two years of data analytics experience.
Employer will also accept a Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, or a related field, plus five years of data analytics experience. Must include two years of experience with each of the following: (1) working with complex data structures and large datasets in a real business setting; (2) utilizing SAS, SQL, Advanced Excel, VBA, PPT, Visio, Mars, Cart, R, and Tableau software; (3) coding complex algorithms; (4) key modeling techniques including logistic regression, gradient boosting models (GBM) and statistical clustering methodologies; (5) data extraction and analysis of large and complex datasets; (6) model performance monitoring metrics, including KS, ROC Curve, PSI, R-square, and Correlation; and (7) risk analytics for business development and finance in banking or insurance industry.
