Engagement Manager, B2C Sales

Are you a team player and creative thinker with strong writing and project management skills? Do you execute marketing efforts flawlessly and thrive in a fast-moving, results-driven environment? Wayfair is looking for an Engagement Manager to join the B2C Sales Voice of Field team. The Engagement Manager will report to the Head of Communications and Engagement, B2C Sales. The ideal candidate will have experience in communications/marketing and event management.

The Engagement Manager will build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders to increase awareness of and support for Global B2C Sales. Working closely with the Communications Manager and Head of The Voice of the Field, this hire will be responsible for collaborating, planning, and executing events and activities related to key business initiatives. A key aspect of the role will be working with both field and corporate leadership teams, including external and internal vendors while maintaining brand loyalty.

What You'll Do

  • Assist in developing, implementing and evaluating a comprehensive engagement program to increase employee retention and promote an all inclusive culture

  • Manage administrative tasks associated with event invoicing, letter preparation, contracts and stakeholder correspondence

  • Provide leadership for and budget management of the Global B2C Sales engagement programs

  • Identify and pursue opportunities for third-party events and liaise with organizers

  • Educate and empower the team to manage, plan and coordinate site specific events and activities

  • Coordinate all other STO engagement programs, including one-time incentive projects, ongoing promotional incentives, global donation drives, and community involvement

  • Create internal marketing materials and promote opportunities to encourage maximum participation by all B2C Sales employees

  • Effectively lead, motivate, supervise and evaluate the engagement team in North America

  • Continually assess engagement program needs and develop new initiatives to ensure new creative ideas and thoughts are heard by our frontline teams

  • Actively coordinate and/or participate in appropriate Global committees and Employee Resource Groups

  • Assist with the production of major Global programs including major promotional events to drive overall business KPIs

What You'll Need

  • 5+ years leading people

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and build partnerships

  • Experience in building brand awareness including concise roadmaps and employee outreach

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills

  • Attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

  • Strong Google Suite skills such as Slides and Documents; proficiency in Sheets, required

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva, a plus

  • Event Planning professional with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience, preferred

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or Business Administration, preferred
