JOB SUMMARY AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Performs maintenance/servicing operations throughout the hospital.# Maintains, repairs, and operates electrical and mechanical equipment.

#Three (3) years of related experience or equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience. Knowledge of various types of equipment used in maintenance/engineering services # # LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION:#Refrigerant Transition and Recovery Certification.# Must have EPA Universal Certification for handling, recovering, and using refrigerants. # # PHYSICAL DEMANDS:#Constant standing, walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, twisting, reaching, handling, and kneeling; color vision, hand/eye coordination and dexterity; exposure to hazards from use of electrical, electronic and mechanical equipment; Heavy Work # Exerting up to 150 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 75 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 30 pounds of force constantly to move objects.# (Maybe further defined as #with assistance# or #without assistance#).

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: High school graduate or equivalent. Completion of a skilled crafts or trades program or equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years of related experience or equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience. Knowledge of various types of equipment used in maintenance/engineering services
