A leader in renewable energy technology, is seeking a dynamic Regional Sales Manager to drive growth in the US utility, developer, and IPP storage markets. This pivotal role demands a seasoned sales professional with deep industry expertise and a proven track record in complex sales environments.

About the Role:

As the Regional Sales Manager for the Eastern Region, you will spearhead the expansion of Trina Storage’s footprint in key markets. Leveraging your established network in the Utility, IPP, and Developer sectors, you will identify strategic opportunities, nurture client relationships, and lead the sales cycle from prospecting to contract execution. This role is pivotal in driving adoption of Trina Storage products and services, contributing directly to the company’s growth strategy.

Responsibilities:

- Identify and capitalize on strategic opportunities within the assigned regions

- Develop and execute a comprehensive business plan tailored to utilities, independent power producers, developers, and other core customers.

- Collaborate cross-functionally to support customer engagement and achieve sales objectives.

- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations, ensuring alignment with customer needs 

- Lead contract negotiations and facilitate seamless handover to program management and support teams.

- Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to maintain competitive edge.

- Represent the business at industry conferences, tradeshows, and networking events.

Qualifications:

- 10+ years of progressive experience in technical sales, ideally within the electric and energy storage industries.

- Proven success in selling complex solutions; familiarity with Lithium Ion batteries or similar storage technologies preferred.

- Strong network in Utilities, Microgrid solution providers, Developers, IPPs, Integrators, OE, IE, and EPC firms.

- Knowledge of relevant industry codes and regulatory requirements.

- Exceptional communication and presentation skills; adept at influencing and negotiating.

- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, CRM systems (Salesforce, QuickBASE), and sales forecasting tools.

- Ability to travel up to 50% as needed
