You will help drive the future by integrating traditional energy conservation measures with a connected building operating system that uses AI, machine learning and outcome-based solutions to create flexible ecosystems focused on customer needs. As a trusted advisor, the outcomes you provide will help customers tell their story of reducing operating expenses, energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions, while at the same time improving comfort, productivity, efficiency and the safety of the environments they work in.
In this role you will be responsible for preparation of demand response / energy audits and measurement and verification (M&V) reports of energy and demand savings as identified in demand response programs. You will have diverse accountability for multiple customers in the New Orleans area.
Provide Sales Support:
Collect utility bills and rate schedule information and provide a Preliminary Utility Analysis (PUA) or other preliminary analysis figures to sales staff.
Assist sales team in development of specific commercial audits, M&V plans and cost estimating.
Review bid/contract packages for quality assurance.
Interface with local contractor teams to provide timely and accurate results to all Honeywell energy analysis customers.
Make recommendations to Local Service/Sales teams for improved customer support; and assist with contract retention strategies and tools for recapturing cancelled customers.
Monitor and update performance tracking reports and project deviations.
Maintain all customer records related to energy analysis contracts.
Provide Customer Support:
Prepare savings guarantee, energy analysis, and/or other presentations for various contract customers.
Analyze utility use and troubleshoot problems with rate schedules.
Build and analyze facility use profile and make recommendations to Measurement & Verification Specialists as to areas requiring investigation.
Responsible for collection of data, such as utility bills, runtime reports, trend reports, and rate schedules required for analysis and reporting of savings results.
Prepare demand response reports and presentations for commercial and industrial program customers.
Responsible for data entry in energy analysis programs to demonstrate savings.
Update performance tracking reports and project deviations to Program Manager.
Maintain all customer records related to participation in demand efficiency programs.
YOU MUST HAVE:
3 years of related commercial or small/medium business HVAC technical experience
2 years of experience in selling to small, medium, and large commercial and industrial customers in building trades, operations, or management
Minimum of 1-year experience with determining energy use and cost at building level for Energy Savings Calculations
Minimum of 1-year experience with collecting Building Management System (BMS) or utility data for analysis and reporting of savings results
Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, economics, energy management, or engineering
Professional Certifications: AEE (Association of Energy Engineers) - CMVP, CEM, or CEA
Utility Rate Schedule analysis and familiarization
Knowledge of commercial and industrial HVAC, controls, and building controls.
Highly organized with attention to detail and great documentation skills
Effective influencing and communications skills; analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to provide sound and reliable judgment in complex business situations
Ability to work collaboratively in a highly matrixed team environment with a win-win orientation
Expert level proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
Ability to adapt to a cyclical workload and multi-task to manage varying priorities
Ability to deal tactfully and confidently at all organization levels with professional attitude
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range: $55,800 - $87,600
