The Role:

The role of the Energy Manager will manage a team of Energy Advisors and is responsible for team

metrics, ongoing development, mentoring, training, and process improvement. You will manage

relationships with the Energy Specialist teams to ensure lead volume and objectives are exceeded in

your assigned territory. We expect members of this team to become experts in our products, in our

direct-from-manufacturer sales model, that have made Tesla innovators in the Energy industry. As a

team, we all work together to help our products affect and enrich more lives around the world every



Lead, manage, and motivate a team of Field Energy Advisors to become experts in energy

products, contracts, and our low pressure sales approaches.

Conduct regular team meetings and individual performance reviews for continued development.

Develop and maintain positive cross functional relationships with internal teams to ensure ongoing

success of team goals.

Continually evaluate lead generation and sales approach to increase effectiveness of the team.

Provide regular team reports to management and be able to speak to sales trends and focus areas

based on data.

Partner with leadership to align territory goals and metrics.

Responsible for team staffing and partnering in recruitment efforts in the territory.

Positive and energetic presentation skills, excellent listening skills, and strong writing skills.

Experience managing and developing teams.

Proficient with standard corporate productivity tools (email, voicemail, MS Office, internet

navigation, CRM applications- preferably Salesforce).

At least three years of proven sales success and B2C experience.

Proven ability to develop a book of business and experience projecting sales numbers.

Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check.

Must have or be able to obtain any required state sales licenses in your sales territory.

Valid state driver's license required.

VIEW JOBS 12/14/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-03-14T00:00 The Role The Commercial Account Manager will be responsible for addressing various client concerns regarding system performance, reporting and monitoring, preventative and corrective maintenance, contractual compliance, billing, and more. The list of clients would include PV, storage & charging infrastructure. This person will act as a single point of contact for any concerns or issues the client may have. They will be a liaison between our service department and the client and will assist in coordinating and evaluating preventative and corrective maintenance activities. The account manager will help resolve contract disputes and work with our clients regarding any other operational or contractual requirements post-installation. Responsibilities * Act as a single point of contact for commercial clients – Including PV, Storage & Charging * Notify clients of pending maintenance on their systems * Resolve contract disputes * Invoice customers for work performed outside the terms and conditions of the contract * Provide feedback to the service and operations teams regarding client requests * Help generate and manage scopes of work for maintenance and repairs, working with subcontractors, our maintenance techs, and the client * Work with various teams internally to resolve billing, legal, subcontracting concerns, and more. Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience * Significant experience working in a Customer Service Role and ability to positively and effectively interact with internal and external customers * Proven track record showcasing the ability to simplify complex problems to various stakeholders * Knowledge of commercial solar projects and basic understanding of solar economics is required * Experience with legal contract review and ability to manage voluminous amounts of data * Excellent computer skills especially using Excel, Outlook, and Word. * Detail-oriented, resourceful and able to manage shifting priorities Tesla Motors Fremont CA
