In a call center environment, our Inside Sales representatives focus on customer acquisition through company issued opportunities. NO COLD CALLING.
Our Inside Sales representatives work in a fast pace environment where we work with potential customers to diagnose their problems and offer solutions. Qualifying and closing the sale of our suite of Home Comfort products with primary focus on Residential Water Heaters (Gas/Electric) along with IAQ (Indoor Air Quality) products. Must be energetic, well-spoken and eager to close sales.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
(Essential Job Function)
1.Professional call center environment with strict starting times.
2.Verbally describes, promotes and sells home comfort products and services (water heaters, duct cleaning, humidifiers, air cleaners, extended warranties and other related services.)
3.Recommends suitable home comfort products and services explaining important features, functions, benefits and cost / benefit relationships.
4.Processes sales orders, extended warranties, credits and exchanges and coordinates sales and installation / service.
5.Coordinates and schedules installation of water heaters and IAQ products.
6.Acknowledges customers' purchase (follow up call, thank you note, etc.) and customer surveys.
7.Keeps abreast of latest water heater and indoor air quality products by studying spec sheets, manufacturer' literature or professional publications.
8.Maintains an acute awareness of competition for feedback to management and to enhance "value" selling.
9.Maintains current BGE HOME comfort product and pricing. Attends product, sales and customer service training sessions on an ongoing basis.
10. Makes outbound re-hash calls to customers who have inquired about our products &services.
Knowledge of BGE Home products and services.
Proficient in MicroOffice Suite. Knowledge of Great Plains and CRM a plus.
Ability to work long periods of time in a professional call center environment.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with proven customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks accurately.
High School Graduate or equivalent, with minimum of 5 years work experience preferably in sales.
Various work hours to include weekends/evenings based on business needs.
May perform other duties as assigned.
