The primary purpose of the position is to perform on initiatives with customers that are contracted for operational services regarding generation, load management and power supply sales/purchasing within ISOs, RTOs and bi-lateral markets within North America

  • The Energy Analyst will collaborate with the Account Managers, IT services, operations, contracts, procurement, and accounting personnel in support of the development and delivery of our services. For a well-qualified candidate the work location can flexible, although someone local to the Louisville, KY office is preferred. The primary purpose of the position is to perform analysis on initiatives with customers that are contracted for operational services which may include:

  • Generation, load management and power supply sales/purchasing within ISOs, RTOs and bi-lateral markets within North America.

  • The position must acquire and maintain PJM Generation Operator Certification.

  • This position is required to work occasional shift work in order to perform as an ISO/RTO operator on behalf of customers.

Requirements:

  • Engineering or finance/business background

  • Strong Excel skills

  • 2-3 years of prior experience in the energy industry is preferred.

  • Team rotates to cover an on-call schedule therefore some nights and weekends are required - viable candidates must be comfortable with this work schedule.
