The Headlines

In the role of Ends Specialist Apprentice is located at the Rocky Mountain Metal Container End Plant in Golden Colorado. The Ends Specialist Apprentice will complete a nine month Apprenticeship program, upon completion will become a full time Ends Specialist.

The shift will be a 4x4 weekly rotation.

The Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to a safe work environment by performing all tasks in accordance with O.S.H.A., Lock-out/Tag-out/Try-out safety rules & MillerCoors policies and regulations.

  • Works as a self-motivated individual with minimal supervision while functioning as a productive team member.

  • Ability to operate high speed electro-mechanical equipment, conduct equipment inspections and repair mechanical assemblies to insure conformance to specifications or production requirements.

  • Performs set-up, adjustment, and timing of mechanical equipment.

  • Ability to input and interpret quality specifications and SPC data utilizing computer programs including Infinity and Excel

  • Utilizes the appropriate personal communication and interaction skills required to work with others in a team-based environment.

  • Performs minor preventative, corrective maintenance (autonomous maintenance), break fix situations, troubleshoots and takes appropriate action to resolve issues, ensuring that the equipment is producing quality product in a timely manner.

  • Possesses the basic mechanical and technical skills to accomplish the required machine adjustments and maintenance.

  • Reads and correctly interprets and follows job procedures, work instructions, as well as special notices and/or instructions and is capable to interpret the instructions, relaying that information accurately to other individuals.

The Minimum Requirements:

  • High Speed Manufacturing Equipment

  • Ability to lift 50lbs

  • Strong oral and written communication and the ability to work independently as well as within a team.

  • Ability to accurately read and follow instructions & perform mathematical calculations

  • 2 years' experience in manufacturing environment preferred

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

The Headlines Ihe role of Wort and Beer Specialist will be working at our Coors Brewing Facility in Golden Colorado. This role is responsible for daily operation and coordination of tank cleaning in compliance with corporate and GMP standards, beer receipt and delivery to meet fermenter drop, beer blending and packaging schedules, routine cleaning and sterilization of process and product streams. The team completes daily micro and sensory sampling, MCMS batch completion and material preparation. The Specialist works in varying hot, cold and wet environments, performs regular heavy lifting, pushing with the lower body, a great deal of walking, and use of stairs and manlifts. The Specialist may work in a confined space that may contain CO2. They must adhere to all established safety practices required for the entrant and attendant. This position will be on the Maturation team and will report to our Sr. Process Leader. The Responsibilities: * Performs work tasks in accordance with OSHA, EPA, FDA, GMP, Lock out/Tag Out/Try Out, safety rules, codes, policies, and regulations and Confined Space Entry policies. * Works with and along side a FTE in a team environment, and must be able to make responsible decisions regarding the task with minimum supervision. * Must be familiar with World Class Manufacturing and its philosophies. * Must participate in all Safety and Enviromental Mangement Practices The Minimum Qualifications: * Required education: High School diploma or GED * Demonstrated understanding of flow dynamics, volume control in a closed system or experience in a food/beverage plant or other production environment. * Must have an excellent safety record and be able to regularly lift over 50 lbs. * Must be able to use Microsoft office applications and have capability to learn several different computer applications, SAP, PLC, Delta V, MCMS. * Ability to troubleshoot production upsets and issues and escalate as necessary. * Able to work in a team environment.
