The Department of Anesthesiology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time tenure track Investigator at the rank of Professor. Responsibilities include showing leadership qualities to strengthen interdisciplinary collaborations, developing new funding initiatives, and becoming fully engaged in the research and teaching missions of the Department and the Medical School.

This position will also have a secondary appointment in a basic science department. An endowed professorship is available to support this position, which will be on a tenured faculty track within the Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine.

We are interested in candidates who are established research scientists with a track record of extramural funding in the field of pain science at a basic or clinical translational research level. Qualified candidates will have an MD and/or Ph.D. degree and evidence of sustainable funding.
