We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Endoscopy Unit at the Thayer Center for Health in Waterville. This position is 36 hours per week with a variable hours schedule. On call (weekend, evenings, nights) rotation required. At times, cross campus floating to Augusta ACH will be required.

Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
Maintains and troubleshoots endoscopes and related equipment. Effectively delegates patient care to ancillary personnel. May precept student nurses and new hires.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Active Maine RN licensure or ability to obtain same in a timely fashion
At least 1 year of RN experience, strongly preferred
Endoscopy/Out-patient experience preferred
Excellent teamwork, communication and collaboration skills
Proven and demonstrated critical thinking skills
