Job Title: End User Experience Operations Manager
Department: IT - Tech Infrastructure
Reports to: Director, Customer Experience and End User Computing
Primary Purpose:
Under the direction of the Employee Experience Director, manages the Information Technology End User Computing device management process to ensure all managed personal compute assets are provisioned, tracked, patched, and managed for Lifecycle in accordance with Brunswick policies. This is done by establishing an effective technology lifecycle that spans from technology asset selection, order management, operation, refresh, migration, optimization, all the way through the retirement and disposal of the asset. The IT EUC operations manager is responsible for the implementation, management and governance of this life cycle and reporting data that is captured throughout the life cycle to improve the management of assets within the organization. In addition, the EUC Operations manager would be responsible for managing the conversion to third party deployment of devices and the management of those third-party vendors.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Define and manage process with site services and EUC to manage lifecycle of all IT EUC assets
Define and mange process to support asset management in ServiceNow
Manage all end user devices in ServiceNow and Intune including asset lifecycle and budget reporting
Support process to manage roadmap, planning and ordering or IT EUC assets
Manage process of using third party vendors to deploy EUC devices direct to end users via our modern workplace initiatives
Ensure alignment of deployment and management process via Microsoft Intune with the End user Compute and Site Services teams, while complying with CIS standards and using secure base configurations.
Management of programs and projects to ensure updates of our IT EUC assets to ensure we remain on supported versions of hardware and software
Ensuring visibility of our device health through ensuring the integration of our management systems to our data driven operating model
Lifecycle management reporting and divisional budget reporting to ensure lifecycle replacement schedule is maintained.
Advise and work with Local Site Services Teams to ensure data protection throughout processes, including proper disposal and destruction.
Investigates available hardware and software products, evaluates, and recommends products based on user requirements.
Coordinates with the procurement function to interview, select and negotiate with hardware and software vendors to purchase the appropriate equipment at the lowest cost.
Coordinates with multiple teams on end user licenses and/or contracts to ensure that hardware and software equipment is covered by the contract and properly documented.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information-technology, engineering, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience
Technology management experience
Minimum of five years of experience in at least two IT solution development disciplines, including technical or infrastructure architecture, application deployment, PC OS deployment, SCCM or Intune management
Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies, platforms, and device deployment platforms
Good understanding of strategic and new and emerging technology trends
Experience working in a relevant industry is helpful, but not required.
