The End User Computing (EUC) Program Coordinator is responsible for creating and maintaining the enterprise-wide End User Computing (EUC) framework under the direction of the Director of Operational Risk Management within the second line of defense. The EUC Program Coordinator will also assist the Model Risk Manager in the determination of models and end user computing (EUC) or non-model tools.

Responsibilities include:

  • Establishes the company's EUC framework, including policies, and operating procedures for the identification and review of EUCs

  • Partners with the lines of business and support groups to discover, create and maintain a complete inventory of EUCs, and appropriately assesses their risk levels

  • Performs reviews of spreadsheets and material/significant EUCs; Acts as an overflow project manager in coordinating and managing outsourced validation engagements under the direction of the Model Risk Manager

  • Manages the resolution of issues with EUC owners and users

  • Prepares EUC reporting for the company's Enterprise Risk Management Committee and Board of Directors

  • Instills EUC best practices and raises awareness of EUC management throughout the enterprise; Attends industry specific working group calls and webinars to stay informed of new model risk and EUC practices

  • Builds and maintains effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including third party model/EUC resources


  • Master's Degree in Business, Information/Analytics, Accounting, Finance, or a quantitative science preferred

  • Professional certification in risk management or actuarial sciences, CFA, or FRM preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree Required


  • Minimum of 3 years of cumulative experience in risk management

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in banking

  • Experience with model risk management preferred

  • Experience with owning/developing EUCs or spreadsheets required

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of Model Governance Regulations and Fed requirements (SR11-7, OCC 2011-12)

  • Self-motivated and the ability to work with minimal supervision while holding external validation consultants accountable to deadlines

  • Ability to demonstrate relationship and partnership building, coaching and development, vision and strategic thinking while providing constructive criticism

  • Capacity to work on multiple projects at the same time while meeting deadlines; creativity in managing time and resources to meet objectives efficiently

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills; must be able to redline and quality control word documents that sometimes exceed 100 pages

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite 2010 (Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint)

  • Advanced spreadsheet and database skills; working knowledge of general database structures and information delivery systems

  • Excellent data interpretation and fluency in reading charts/graphs for relevance and consistency

  • Critical thinking skills to provide credible challenge

  • Some working knowledge of statistical/modeling programs such as R, SAS etc. desired

Working Conditions:

  • Out of office travel percentage on average is 10-20%

  • Travel is limited to within U.S. and is typically involves day trips

  • Workweeks may exceed 40 hours and may include weekend hours if special projects occur

The Customer Service Associate – Front End is responsible for delivering excellent customer service during the checkout process. This associate is one of the last interactions with our customer before leaving the store and needs to ensure the customer is satisfied and encouraged to come back to Lowe's. Therefore, engaging with customers as well as attention to detail are extremely important in this role. Responsibilities Customer Service * Provides SMART customer service at all times through the daily execution of Lowe's customer service policies, procedures and programs. * Seeks out customers to understand his/her needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and/or loading merchandise. * Listens to and responds knowledgeably and promptly to customer and employee questions by taking them to areas of the store and walking them through projects when necessary. * Demonstrates sincere appreciation to customers. * Communicates information to customers regarding all stock, special order merchandise, feature benefits and credit programs, application, and warranty information related to Lowe's programs. * Uses a cash register to process sales transactions, returns, and refunds according to company guidelines. * Removes security tags, verifies product information, and bags merchandise for customers. * Answers incoming phone calls and directs calls or takes messages as needed. * Takes action to open additional registers to accommodate high customer volume In-stock * Prepares register area at the beginning and end of shift by confirming functionality of registers and scanners and stocking register supplies. * Stocks coolers, shelves, areas around the cashier with merchandising. * Inspects returned merchandise for damages. * Assists with Pick Up In Store customer experience by picking and staging merchandise on time. * Enters and submits customer orders, prints order tickets, verifies receipts, places online orders and returned merchandise in the appropriate areas, and signs off on loading tickets. * Looks up product information and competitor prices for products to verify price match.
