Job Purpose:

Lead the development of revamped data and business processes in support of Marketing ensuring data is available and accessible where needed. Drives the marketing business processes to ensure clear accountabilities of major milestones and alignment. Develops the roadmap for the marketing data ecosystem and partners with Business leaders to align on vision and priorities.

Sources the communication and education of data and processes to the business functions. Implements a way to ensure resources are adopting both data and business processes. Partners with Consumer Experience Unit leaders to ensure processes are optimal, attainable and sustainable.

Framework General Profile and Scope:

  • Extensive knowledge of direct-to-consumer business functions, key deliverables and interdependencies.

  • Create a roadmap from current state to desired end state and drive change (this applies to marketing data and processes).

  • Develops process maps to deliver a streamlined integrated process. Requires partnering with business functions to understand the work, deliverables, constraints, data, and timeframes to accomplish the work.

  • Define business terminology and implement with business functions.

  • Owns the marketing operations calendar.

  • Ensures compliant use of the data (legally and according to partner agreements).

  • Knowledgeable of product offerings.

  • May lead functional teams.

Job Responsibilities:

Incumbents in this role perform the following tasks in an expert/lead capacity:

  • Owns having a detailed knowledge of direct-to-consumer functions.

  • Create an integrated process with clear accountabilities and milestones. This includes decision making processes and key communication points. Ensures this is updated and stays relevant.

  • Ensures data is available at key milestones and processes are aligned.

  • Creates training materials and assessments to ensure everyone understands the data and processes as needed for their respective work. Oversees training curriculum, schedule and adoption.

  • Stays abreast of the integrated process and adjusts as needed.

  • Owns delivering and gaining adoption of the end-to-end processes.

  • Possesses knowledge of the data model, processes, and products.

  • Maintains roadmap for Consumer Experience Unit marketing data and processes.

  • A key driver in change management.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Technology and Operations.

  • 8-10+ years of working in direct-to-consumer, financial services or related industry and in an operations leadership capacity.

  • Understand direct-to-consumer marketing processes and data leveraged.

  • Lean or Six Sigma trained.

  • Excellent change management skills.

  • Takes ownership of problems and actively resolves issues while ensuring the business is aligned.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.

  • Experience working and collaborating across the organization.

  • Demonstrated excellent organizational, analytical, planning and project management skills.

  • Can identify problem areas and quickly put a solution in place.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a time sensitive, results driven environment.

One of only 14 centers of its kind in the United States, the Waisman Center encompasses laboratories for biomedical and behavioral research, a brain imaging center, and a clinical bio-manufacturing facility for the production of pharmaceuticals for early stage human clinical trials. In addition to its research efforts, the Center provides an array of services to people with developmental disabilities, offers numerous educational and outreach programs to young children and their families, and trains scientists and clinicians who will serve our nation in the future. This position will work within the Waisman Biomanufacturing (WB) work unit. WB is a clinical manufacturing facility that produces biologics (gene therapeutics, cell therapeutics, recombinant proteins and vaccines) for Phase I and II Human Clinical Trials in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) guidelines. The Process Development and Manufacturing Specialist will be responsible for developing and supporting manufacturing operations with any number of upstream or downstream processes, co-developing manufacturing processes, executing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing operations, conducting equipment and process validation of manufacturing processes, performing manufacturing activities under cGMPs and complete project assignments as required to support all of these.
