The successful candidate has an ability to work in dynamic cross functional and customer engaging environments including: understanding technology trends and virtualization with implications to customers, developing strategic vision for the solution, interacting with executive level customers, and driving successful business model with marketing and sales team.
On-boarding of large and medium sized customers to our Cloud based instrument management system.
Work with end customers and the internal team to identify opportunities to integrate our instrument management system with the customer's Backoffice systems.
Become an expert and customer advocate for our instrument management system.
Mentor and Guide customers to realize the full potential of the instrument management system.
Assess market opportunities, develop strategic vision and solution roadmap
Write solution requirements and determine priority.
Work closely with R&D and cross functional team for new product development.
Work with PLM team to ensure that the solution compliments and support overall VIAVI ecosystem
Minimum 3 years demonstrated product management, application engineering, business development, and/or marketing experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in SaaS Cloud Solutions.
BS in Computer Science or Informatics a plus.
Plus: Experience in Java programming and development. API use and design.
Excellent Excel and database skills.
Excellent communication skills, comfortable with customers at all levels.
Leadership skill to drive the diverse cross functional stakeholders to the common vision and goals
Plus: Understanding technologies and trends ideally in Telecommunications, DOCSIS/DSL, Business services, Ethernet/IP, cloud, SDN/NFV or networking markets
Able to travel 25~30% (domestic and international)
